MJW Undress your feelings by Marta Peraza

Through 2 pieces of jewelry of Her own, Marta Peraza pays tribute to Her father, her childhood and agriculture.

«The Corn Harvest“ Necklace and ring.
«My hometown belongs to the Blue Zone of Costa Rica, where one of the bases of our food/gastronomy is still corn With this grain you can make different dishes that are referents of typical Guanacaste food».

This collection is a tribute dedicated to my father, who was a farmer during my childhood, at the time of the corn harvest, we lived it as a party with a cart pulled by oxen, the load of corn was taken from the milpa to our house and with my child’s eyes everything seemed special to me. This day ended with a dessert prepared by my mother called atolillo.

The Corn harvest

The cycle of agriculture that represents the cycle of life itself; corn as an icon of a culture; So simple, so complex at the same time and a symbol of my childhood.
